The Infirmary The Infirmary is the dwelling place of the nurse, and the location in which all students are they Meister or Weapon will be escorted, in the event of an injury. Examples of injuries that may occur are illnesses, wounds, broken bones, and so on. Remember, the first step to healing is admitting you have a problem…the second? Sanitation~ |

| (Note* Continuation from Soul Resonance class) All bandaged up from head to toe, except nostrils, mouth and eyes, the first day couldn't be any worse. Falling off a roof, falling down the flight of stairs at the entrance, getting spanked by Death. It was horrible, and it was all during the first period. Now, with the brutal injuries, Adam doubted that he could attend the rest of the days classes. It sucked. He also thought that he made a horrible first impression. Everyone would probably take Adam for the new class idiot who got a beating from the Head Master. With a deep sigh of disappointment, he was at least glad he didn't do anything that would make anyone think he was a witch, even if he was only half a witch, since full fledged witches were all females. Looking out of the window to the left, Adam gazed at the sun. He was wondering how his father felt when he first joined Shibusen. Was he as nervous as Adam? Did he make a full of himself on the first day? Did he ever get scolded by Death? At the thought, he couldn't help chuckle a bit. The situation was funny, although he would have to portrait himself differently if he wanted people to take him seriously, as well as find a partner. Looking at the time, on a clock above the wall in front of him, he saw that two hours have passed. He wanted to get out of the bed as soon as possible and start over. It's not like the injuries were that bad. Just a few bruises with a dislocated shoulder. "Man, I need to find a partner!" He was really annoyed. Every minute, every second, was passing by him. Meisters meeting Weapons, Weapons meeting Meisters, Meister meeting Meister, and Weapon meeting Weapon. All this happening while Adam had to get better. It frustrated him, angered him. But he couldn't do anything unless he was better, otherwise Death would spank him again. Deep in the back of his head, he was hoping that a random student would walk in and talk with him. Although, that wouldn't happen since no one knows him. At the same time though, he was okay of being alone. Scared that people would just shun him if they knew his secret maybe even try to kill him. He lowered his head and gripped his blanket tighter on the thought. He wanted people to acknowledge him yet he was scared of what could happen. It wasn't guaranteed that everyone was as open minded for a half-witch to be in Shibusen as Death was. "What should I do?" |

| WHAT DO YOU MEAN THIS IS THE INFIRMARY!? HMPH! A voice erupted from the entrance of the wing leading into the infirmary, so loud that the entire wing up to the clinic heard her voice echo from the walls. Several other inaudible ramblings were spat out after the initial question, then the noise slowly died down. Another student had clearly stated that she was going the wrong way after she asked if the classroom was located in this wing. No matter, she did not pay attention to his declaration and continued to walk off into the Infirmary. As she approached the clinic, her right hand's index finger was gently brushing against her chin, as if she were passing the time lost in her thoughts. She continuously scanned the walls of the wing, the paintings, the doors, the lighting....yes, everything damned thing she could fix her eyes upon. She followed the signs reading "Infirmary" determined that the previous person's statement was a complete and utter lie. Finally she came to a halt in front of the recovery room where the door was somehow open and yet there was no one in sight except the bandaged body of a person lying in bed. Her right hand slowly lowered down back to her side, and she fell completely silent as the two students made eye contact. She was small in stature, but wore a menacing look despite her innocent appearance. After scanning the figure wrapped in bandages, she began to make an analysis of her own. "What's this? A Mummy, why yes-yes I've read about these "beings" in books. How peculiar that this place would house such a thing, then again this is a rather odd school. Maybe he is a staff member? A lazy one at that!" After her remarkably arrogant judgement of the bandaged person, she began to walk closer, while her face grew with more discontent at the setting she was currently in. "This school is a complete mess! What kind of classroom is this!?" She began to rant once again as her eyes wandered away from the bandaged person once again, yet at mid rant, when their eyes met once again, a fire lit up within her, as she suddenly pointed at the bandaged being menacingly with her right index finger. "Hey you! What are you doing laying in bed? Are you not an instructor? Is your duty not to instruct the students whom attend this establishment!? What sort of dignity do you have? Answer me!" |

| Apparently the Universe had cooperated with Adam by giving him what he initially wanted, a visitor. It was sudden, unexpected but as he gazed into the girls eyes, he couldn't help but have a gentle smile. This was his chance to introduce himself without some sort of awkward or sudden accident. With the girls outgoing and outspoken attitude, Adam's smile was followed by a nervous sweat drop at the side of his temple. She was loud enough that someone from a different room would be able to hear her. "I'm sorry. I'm not an instructor. I'm a new student here, in Shibusen. And we aren't in class. This is the infirmary. Can't you tell by the white room with two beds? Oh! And I'm not a mummy, I just had... A rough day..." Considering that the girl assumed he was an instructor, and that this was a classroom, he only assumed that she was also a new student, this year. The thought about her being a meister or weapon didn't really cross his mind. In fact, he couldn't help but feel somewhat scared around her. She didn't sound like the shy type, even though she looked it. He just wanted to hurry up and rest up and her being here would probably just give him a headache. "Hmm... Shouldn't you ask around for directions to get to class? I can only assume that you got lost, if you're here." |

| Her eyes scanned the room once more, and just as the boy stated, it was a white room she was standing in, and there were only two beds in front of her. "Infirmary....Infir-mary....INFIRMARY!?" Her face flushed a bright red as she crossed her arms and turned her head away from the boy in utter disbelief. Yet her moment of silence was broken when she felt a sudden tap from behind on her left shoulder that prompted her face to change dramatically.  One of the nursing staff happened to stop by for a routine follow-up when she overheard the rant of the girl. The nurse had a displeased look about her, but gently told the girl, "Young lady, please do not disturb the patients. This young man is recovering from a number of injuries, and the last thing he needs is further disruption." She quickly shook her head, turning back towards the boy while pointing at him menacingly once more. "You may have won this round mummy boy, but we will meet again!" The nurse behind her grunted in response, then the girl quickly stormed out of the recovery room. |
